The local community in Girlington helped plant 2000 crocuses provided by Rotary Sidekicks as part of the Purple for Polio campaign. Great event involving children of all ages, mums and dads.... and the Purple for Polio Teddy!
Brian Noble was the main speaker at our Sports Personality Dinner this week when we raised over £800 for international and local charities. He was ably supported by comedian Barry York.
The MC for the evening was District Governor elect, Robert Morphet. You will note his Union Jack tie but he is hiding at the back so you can't see his matching waistcoat!ways this was a most enjoyable evening which was orgainised by Ron Wilkinson. More pictures on our Sports Page
