  • Children helping Children

Primary school children and their parents have filled 194 Shoe Boxes to go to children and families in Eastern Europe who are not so fortunate as those here in the UK. The primary schools of Harden, Keelham and Wilsden have collected toys, warm clothing, toiletries and household items and packed them into the boxes.

Rotarian Tony Caunt organised the collection and was helped by his wife, Judy.

Pictured is the pallet of boxes ready to be collected by the Rotary Shoe Box Appeal and transported to countries such as Romania, Moldova and Ukraine.

We wish to thank all those who contributed these much needed goods and can assure everyone that they will be gratefully received by the poor people in Eastern Europe.
