  • New Rotakids Club at Harden School

On Friday 21st November Vic, Graeme, Ken, Anne and Masie May (PAT dog), together with President Robert attended a special assembly at Harden Primary School. First on a packed agenda was the inauguration of the School Council into RotaKids. The School was presented with their framed charter certificate and each of the 20 School Council members received their badges and wristbands in front of the whole school community including their Mums and Dads.

Earlier in the day Tony and Judy Caunt had collected many shoe boxes filled by the children at Harden Primary for children less fortunate than themselves. The development of the Harden Primary Rotakids Club is natural progression in the relationship between the School and the Rotary Club of Bradford West

Rotakids is great way for children to gain confidence and personal development through projects that benefit their community. Rotakids really is an experience which can bring out the best in Children and we wish Harden Primary School well with everything they decide to do.

Harden Primary School now joins Farnham Primary School in the Rotary Club of Bradford West Rotakids initiative and we are grateful to Rotarians Vic Cornwell and Graeme Parker for their work and commitment. If you need any convincing that this is worthwhile, you only need to see the children's faces.
