  • St James Christmas Tree Festival switch on tonight

On Friday 28th November 2014 in St James Church, Thornton at 6pm the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress will formally switch on the lights of the first ever Christmas tree Festival to be held at the Church. There are over 40 Christmas trees in Church from many wide and varied organisations including the British Legion, Air Ambulance and the Rotary Club of Bradford West. The Church will be open for one week so that people can visit and see this remarkable spectacle.

Grateful thanks to everyone involved with Rotary Club tree, specifically Carol, Carol’s grandson, Sandra and Carolyn whose artistic flair ensured the tree was topped off in appropriate style.
