In February 2012, BBC Medical Correspondent Fergus Walsh travelled with Rotarians from the UK to Delhi for a National Immunisation Day (NID).

He followed the volunteers around the immunisation booths and saw how Rotary, in partnership with health agencies, is combating polio.

Broadcasts were made on BBC Radio 4s Today programme, the One O'Clock, Six O'Clock and Ten O'Clock news as well as Fergus writing up about his experiences on his blog.

RIBI President Burman was also interviewed live on BBC Breakfast, highlighting the importance of polio eradication and Rotary's role in driving the disease out for good.
